How is GuardianAI priced?
GuardianAI is sold as a per-camera annual subscription. One line item, one renewal date, one budget conversation per year. Pricing scales linearly with your camera count: the model that watches a 30-camera elementary school is the same one that watches a 1,500-camera university campus, just deployed on different appliance tiers. Typical pricing: $200–$600 per camera per year.
| Volume tier | Per-camera per year | Annual all-in (example) | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1–25 cameras | $600 | $6,000–$15,000 | Small private school, full SLA |
| 26–100 cameras | $400 | $10,400–$40,000 | Most K-12 buildings |
| 101–500 cameras | $300 | $30,300–$150,000 | Mid-size school district (5–10 buildings) |
| 501+ cameras | $200 | $100,200+ | University campuses, district-wide |
The variance is driven by three knobs:
- Volume. A 40-camera K-8 lands at the $400/camera tier; a 600-camera university at $200/camera. Large-district contracts (5+ buildings) unlock additional 25–40% discounts.
- Appliance. A single Jetson Orin Nano (8 GB) handles up to 50 cameras and is included in the subscription. Larger sites use a server-grade GPU appliance (RTX 4000 Ada or equivalent) — different one-time hardware cost ($1,200–$8,000), same per-camera annual fee.
- Pilot vs. production. Pilot programs (≤ 100 cameras, 6 months) are priced as a flat fee that converts into year-1 subscription credit if you move to a full deployment.
What's included in every subscription?
- On-prem GPU appliance. Pre-imaged, drop-in box. No GPU rental, no cloud GPU bill.
- Pose-based AI model. The two-stage pipeline (YOLO11n-Pose + CTR-GCN) and all quarterly retraining updates.
- Telegram alert delivery for an unlimited number of staff recipients per school.
- Web dashboard, incident log, analytics— same product for every customer; no "enterprise tier" gate.
- 24/7 health monitoring of every appliance + 4-hour SLA for hardware swap during the school year.
- Data Processing Agreement (DPA) and DPIA template on request, plus annual DPIA review for districts with 1,000+ students.
What is explicitly NOT charged?
- No per-incident fees. A school with 0 fights pays the same as a school with 100.
- No per-alert delivery fees. Telegram is free; we don't mark it up.
- No setup fees for buildings ≤ 100 cameras.
- No charge for false-alarm feedback or model retraining.
What does a K-12 pilot cost?
We run paid pilots, not free pilots — they convert at higher rates and we've found that paying for the install changes how seriously a district treats the rollout. A standard pilot is $8,000 for one building of up to 50 cameras for 6 months, fully credited against year-1 subscription if the district expands. If after 6 months the SROs and admin team don't want to keep it, we pull the appliance and there's no further charge.
How do I get a real quote?
A real quote needs three numbers: total camera count, number of buildings, and target start month. Send those to hello@guardianai.techand we'll come back within one business day with a written quote, an SOW, and the DPA. For K-12 districts in the U.S., we also include a one-page summary your attorney can compare against your existing CCTV vendor's contract.
